Really great. Downloaded. the chordmelody thing you had going with the guitar was great. you know, you usually here this stereotypical jazz guitar effect, and some cats think thats the only way to go, but with the reverb you used here, you definitely proved em wrong. i feel like you should expand on this. get some musicians together. maybe an alto or trumpeter, and then i can totally see this with some nice lines on an upright bass. maybe you could give the melody to a horns player and then comp the chord progression in the background? just spewing out ideas. Not that what you have now isnt great, i just think it would be so cool to expand on. good work, and if you do decide to go further with this i'm looking forward to hearing it! :)

I really appreciate your excellent review my friend! This song is just a demo and I was thinking about adding some brass instruments later on,so your idea will be taken in consideration,i know I need to keep working to get something better,in fact the song ended up being too short for my taste so I´m gonna work on this stuff to make it better and more complex.Anyway thanks for the feedback dude, cheers!

really soulful.

Panteras responds:

Thank you!
I really enjoyed making this piece.

i love this. you did all this in GB? if so do u purchase add ons? this is great. the percussion really gives it texture! How did u do in ngadm? keep up the great work!

that intro/ main riff sounds faintly familiar... really great song! definitely love that grungy sound! kind of makes me thing of Kurt Cobain.

i really loved the eagle part i didn't expect that. also beautiful description, and this track really embodies those feelings. well done.

really great tone in that bass. do you play french or german bow? also what are you recording with, whatever it was really picked up the depth of that instrument extremely well. I could totally see this in a movie that takes place in the desert. really great man!!

bassfiddlejones responds:

Thanks! I use a german style bow, I find it allows me to be more aggressive while still maintaining a level of finesse. I think that when we recorded this we had a Shure, maybe a KSM of some sort? My friend has since upgraded to a Neumann. At any rate, glad you liked the piece man!

love it. the bass line given by the trombone. i kind of see a herd of animals marching when i listen to this. its so great. its now in my itunes library on loop!!!!

fantastic!! what DAW did u use?

Yumisekai responds:

Thanks, mate! I used FL Studio.
